This handmade leather bag's structural simplicity (a continuous piece of leather gusseted and ending in a front flap) made it popular in the 1960s when people began experimenting with their own leatherworking skills. Yet, its slim shape and shining hardware fit a contemporary profile without being too "briefcase". The completely hand laced and riveted, made one at a time construction gives it a unique look not seen in today's mass-produced world.
