Est. 1976
I opened Tanner's Alley Leather Design Studio in 1976 because I loved working with leather and wanted to offer my services to the community. Since my hometown, Morgantown, West Virginia, is home to West Virginia University, there is a great need for satchels, book bags, backpacks, and travel bags. Over the years, I have developed a group of handmade leather products to serve these needs. All these items have been "field-tested" for years by both students and professionals. I am happy to report that our products have been used around the world as our regular customers report to us their many adventures.

Available Colors: Saddle Tan, Antique Brown Pebble, Black, Antique Tan American Buffalo, Antique Brandy Bull hide (Shown)
I saw an old photo of a stagecoach loaded with passengers and baggage. A leather bag perched on top caught my eye: it had a pleasing shape, good size, and distinct style. I decided to reproduce it. Our version is handmade from a durable yet supple leather with bound leather edges and solid brass hardware. There is an outside pocket that is perfect to slip in a magazine or boarding pass.Whether by plane, train, or automobile, carry our Overland Stage Bag and continue the tradition of elegant and adventurous travel.
